Imprisoned because her touch can kill, Juliette lives  life never knowing the touch another human being again.  She was imprisoned because the last time she touched someone, they died.  The world around her is falling apart so they have little time to mess with her or the other inmates in the horrible prison.  One day a face from her past is suddenly in her cell.  Juliette was in love with him as a child.  He was the only one that was ever nice to her.  Why is he here?  What did he do to get thrown into this hellish place?  He is really there to test her.  The Reestablishment, the new government, wants to use her as a weapon, and they are using her friend from the past to convince her to work for them.  She has little choice, to be a weapon or fight for her freedom.
